TOP 5 WEDDING BUSINESS MONEY MAKING ACTIVITIES

Uncategorized Feb 01, 2022

December through March can always be a slow time for the wedding business.......so you think.

I used to think this way too,  until I scaled to a 6 figure business!  I learned the kinds of strategic money making activities I needed to incorporate into my wedding business during the slower "non-servicing" season.

So, if you are sitting on your couch right now saying, it's slow, no one books this time of year, you are wrong.

It might be time to look at your website and online business platform to make sure you are actually incorporating money making activities in to your daily routine to capture booking clients this time of year.

Let me introduce you to "booking season" or otherwise known as "engagement season."

This is one of the most critical times of year because if your marketing is done right,  you can capture all the brides that just got engaged over the holidays and are eager to plan their weddings.

Hello $10-$20K months! Yes, no joke! So, I have put together a check list to make sure you have these things checked off the box, to make sure you are ready for booking season!

  1. Post STRATEGICALLY to Instagram Feed and Stories. Brides are searching and with Instagram being the #1 social media platform for the wedding industry, you need to keep your page up daily, to make it easier for brides to find you. Not sure what to post? Get my Bridal Social Suite Course here.
  2. Boost reviews. Reviews aren't just for your potential clients. Getting your reviews up around January- March will help give your online platforms a boost too. This will help you get seen and found from more potential clients.
  3. Blogging. It works the same way as reviews. Any little updates you can add to your website, will help get your website and online platform in front of more potential clients. You can choose to blog everyday, or once a month, but the once a month is the minimum. Find a routine that works best for you or hire out a freelance blogger, which is what I do.
  4. Update your website photos and Knot or Wedding Wire photos and just make sure that everything is up to date with the right brand motto and messaging on your website that will attract and speak to your potential ideal client.
  5. Connect with vendors. This is a great time of year to do styled shoots and connect and network with other wedding vendors to see if working together would be a good fit or get access to to be on their preferred vendor list.

Last, set a goal! It sounds elementary, but I cant tell you how many clients I get that aren't setting monthly income goals for themselves. If you don't set a goal, then you aren't working intentionally towards that goal. This is a mindset shift that needs to happen if you want to obtain consistent $10K months.

So, get excited for January!!!!! This will be your biggest month ever! It is one of mine and our coaching clients every year!!!
